Robbie Kruse departs Melbourne Victory 

Melbourne Victory can confirm Robbie Kruse will depart the Club after the completion of his contract. 

Kruse wraps up his second stint at the Club with 92 appearances across all competitions, including 18 goals and the 2021 Australia Cup during his time in Melbourne. 

Melbourne Victory Director of Football, John Didulica thanked Robbie for his contribution to the Club. 

“Robbie has been one of Australia’s most successful footballers on the international stage over the past decade and we’ll always be proud of his association with Melbourne Victory,” Didulica said. 

“His first stint at the Club showed the potential for exciting young footballers to springboard their careers into the best clubs in Europe and into the Australian National Team whilst this season in particular he played such an important role in guiding our young players to the Australia Cup triumph.” 

Kruse also expressed gratitude to those at the Club during his five seasons in Victory colours.

“I’d like to thank everyone involved at Melbourne Victory during my time at the Club and wish the Club all the success in the future,” Kruse said.
