Melbourne Victory will pack their bags for the long-weekend with two crucial clashes against Macarthur (Friday) and Brisbane (Monday) ahead.
The squad flies out to Sydney on Thursday and will head straight to Brisbane after the Macarthur game to recover in time to face the Roar on ANZAC Day.
Midfielder Jake Brimmer has completed his concussion protocol break and will join the squad on the trip.
It creates a great problem for Victory, with Chris Ikonomidis impressing in the attacking midfield role in Brimmer’s absence against Newcastle last week.
Matt Spiranovic returned from a rest against the Jets and performed strongly.
Matt Acton (foot) and Robbie Kruse (knee) remain out.
Victory will return to Melbourne on Tuesday to prepare for their final home fixture of the season against Wellington next Friday.
