Melbourne Victory is set to celebrate Leigh Broxham‘s 350th A-League appearance for the Club on Wednesday night against Western United with a number of changes to the squad.
Nick D’Agostino and Ben Folami are on Socceroos duties ahead of Thursday night’s World Cup qualifier against Japan so will both miss.
Robbie Kruse (knee) remains out while Chris Ikonomidis (hamstring) is unlikely to recover in time to face Western United.
The absences open great opportunities for the likes of Nishan Velupilay, Francesco Margiotta and Lleyton Brooks to step up and threaten Western’s defence.
