Melbourne Victory’s Caroline Carnegie spoke to 3AW’s Sports Today on Friday night.
The Club’s Managing Director joined Matt Granland to discuss several key topics during a busy period, including the launch of Victory’s 2026/27 A-League kits, the first in partnership with Elite Eleven, and membership sales for the new season.
Conversation, of course, started on the subject of the 2026 Hahn Australia Cup Final against South Melbourne on Saturday, October 10, kick-off 7:35pm AEDT, when the Boys in Blue are aiming to lift the trophy for a third time.
Speaking to 3AW, Carnegie previewed what is set to be a bumper occasion in Melbourne.
“It is a great news story for football. Obviously, every final we play in, we want to win, but it is wonderful to know we will have a full, pumping AAMI Park for a real spectacle of a match.”
She added: “It is wonderful for both clubs to be able to turn up to a final in a sold-out atmosphere.”
