Biography
Returning to Melbourne Victory on loan from Norwegian club, FK Viking, young left-back Franco Lino is back in hometown in search for first-team minutes.
Joining the Victory Academy as a 12-year-old, Lino signed a scholarship contract at the beginning of the 2023/24 season and quickly caught eyes internationally.
Lino was sold to Viking in January 2024, joining up with former Victory striker Nicholas D’Agostino in Norway.
After spending 18 months gaining experience abroad and notably earning a call-up to the Australia U23 national team in late 2024, Lino made his first appearance back at the Club in Victory’s Round 21 clash with Macarthur FC at AAMI Park.
