Biography
Joining Melbourne Victory for the 2025/26 campaign, Matthew Grimaldi is a young Melbourne-born attacking midfielder/winger.
Breaking through in Western United’s first-team during the 2023/24 season, Grimaldi was recognised as the United’s Young Player of the Season.
Grimaldi would have another strong season out west, earning a call-up to the Australia U23s national team and impressing in their route to AFC Asian Cup Qualification.
Joining Melbourne Victory with over 50 A-League Men’s appearances to his name, Grimaldi will hope to continue his development in navy blue.
