The 29-year-old Australian striker, signed on a two-year contract, joins Giovanni Savarese’s ranks ahead of the 2026/27 season, having shown an eye for goal in both of his previous A-League campaigns.
Sawyer has switched from Macarthur FC to the Boys in Blue and started life at Victory by undertaking his medical, visiting AAMI Park, meeting Besart Berisha and, of course, enjoying a Melbourne coffee.
